Tom Brooks is President and co-founder of Reno Kid Ranch, LLC. Prior to
establishing the RKR, Tom owned and operated ranches in Georgia, Nevada and
California. Tom and his partner, Ric Grome, founded and operated Shock Waves
Inc., a veterinary research company that pioneered equine shock wave therapy.
He is a principle in a private consulting company that identifies and introduces high
tech medical products from overseas. Tom intends to use his international
contacts to make the RKR a mechanism to introduce the bucking bull breeding
business globally.
Mr. Brooks is a graduate of Augusta Technical College.
Ric Grome is Vice President of Business Development for the Reno Kid
Ranch. Ric and his partner, Tom Brooks, founded and operated Shock Waves
Inc., a veterinary research company that pioneered equine shock wave therapy.
Ric is a principle in Heritage Group, LLC, a private consulting firm advising
businesses in business structure, management, marketing, sales and finance.
Prior to Heritage Group, Ric spent over 15 years with the Elekta AB, a medical
equipment company, out of Stockholm, Sweden; 11 years as President of Gamma
Knife Ventures, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary created by Ric for Elekta. Prior to
Gamma Knife Ventures, Ric was President of Elekta Instruments, Inc., responsible
for sales, distribution and service in North and South America.
Ric has an MBA in Financial Planning from California Lutheran University, a
Masters of Science in Radiation Science from the University of Cincinnati, and a
Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Thomas More College.
